At Katie’s Kinder Care we aim to provide children with the best start in life. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to a nurtured and educated start that prepares them for their next adventure. We use a holistic and integrated approach to ensure the best outcome for each child. We work closely with parents, outside agencies, the local community and use our amazing environments to develop every aspect of our children. Our key person approach enables parents to feel valued, heard and involved in their child’s journey.

Within the baby room, our aim is to provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for every baby in our care. We aim to follow their home routine, ensuring continuity between home and nursery.
The Toddler Room is a bright and spacious room, and this combined with our friendly, caring and enthusiastic staff team, makes a friendly, welcoming and stimulating environment for your child.
From the age of 3 onwards the children become immersed within the Pre-school Room at Katie’s Kinder Care. This room has a natural approach and most toys are accessible for children to choose what they want to play with.
Our outdoor areas include a front ground that is split by a fence for babies and toddlers. A rear playground that the pre-school children use. We also have 8 acres of grassland that is solely for nursery use.
We firmly believe that a well balanced and nutritious diet should be available to each child on a daily basis and our menus reflect this.
We serve breakfast, lunch and tea. Fresh drinking water is always on offer to the children.
Our menus are rotated on a four weekly basis and we always welcome parents’ comments and suggestions. We have a cook who prepares home cooked meals on a daily basis.

This nursery is absolutely brilliant. The staff really care about the children and get to know them really well. The activities are fun and educational and engage the children. They plan things around the children’s interests and are child focused in everything that they do. I’d highly recommend this nursery.
My little girl has been at this nursery since 16 months old. She first started in the toddler room and absolutely loved it. The activities the team do with children are brilliant, they go above and beyond when caring for my daughter. She has recently transitioned into pre school room and again, the care is excellent. A wonderful team.
Katie’s is truly outstanding , my little girl started in January and has come on leaps and bounds especially with speech and drawing, she comes home and asks us what the letter/word of the day is and gives us postcards for good listening, even tells us we are good girls or boys. it’s a very special place.
My daughter has been coming to KKC for nearly 2 years and she absolutely loves it! She is so settled into the preschool room and has learnt so much in only 4 months of being in there and the positive postcards are a real hit with her.
I cannot recommend Katie’s Kinder Care highly enough! The nursery itself has such a lovely layout and the children have endless resources to engage with. They do so many amazing activities and my daughter always comes home tired from a busy day which is a bonus 🙂 the staff are all friendly and welcoming and make you feel so at ease (especially when you’re such a worrier like me!)
My little boy has just started going to the baby room, all the staff have made it so welcoming and they have made it less anxiety provoking for both me and my baby. They update the app regularly and keep you in the know at all times, they have my complete trust and each day they do a different activity with the children, they take lovely photos too! 1000% recommended!
Our daughter has been attending Katie’s for the past 2 years and she loves it. The staff are fantastic with her especially in a morning when she needs a few extra cuddles. Each day there are new activity trays for the children to play with & she loves playing in the outside area. I would highly recommend and we have already secured our place for baby number 2
Fantastic nursery. Two of my girls went from being 9 months old until starting school. My youngest is now 11 months and she has been going since she was just 5 months as I had to go back to work. Lots of the staff are still there from my oldest daughter starting (she is now 9) and they really are amazing! I can go to work knowing that she is comfortable, happy and so well looked after. Communication on the app whilst she is there is excellent, so I can check in anytime. Thank you all for everything you do, it’s very much appreciated
